Annual Dinner and Auction
Presented by Franczek
Radelet P.C.
The Annual Dinner
and Auction will be held at Bolingbrook Golf Club on April 16. The cash bar and silent auction will begin at 6 pm. Dinner
will be served at 7 pm. There is still time for you to get your ticket to attend this fun event. The dinner and auction
is one of the Foundation’s major fundraising efforts. Money raised through the generosity of individuals, businesses
and corporate sponsors goes to support the work of the Foundation: funding grant programs, scholarships and special projects
that directly benefit students and teachers.
Buy a key
to the treasure chest. If your key fits, you’ll get the treasure! Play the squares game to win a tv. Check out the
silent auction items. Perhaps you’ll be tempted by a lovely piece of jewelry or a unique signed art piece.
You are warmly invited to attend the dinner and auction. Get
some friends together for an enjoyable evening at Bolingbrook Golf Club. You’ll be helping the Foundation raise the
funds that make it possible for its good work to continue.
You are warmly
invited to attend. Tickets are available for purchase by completing this form and mailing it in. Make plans to celebrate teaching and learning at the Foundation for Excellence Annual Dinner and
Auction. We hope to see you there!
Get Out Those Running Shoes
As the snow slowly melts from our yards, June is fast approaching. That could
only mean that the Big Cat's of Plainfield will once again run through the streets. Last year our inaugural event was such
a big success, that this year we are taking steps to make it even better. June 13th is the official date. Our race will
return to beautiful Settler's Park in downtown Plainfield.
For our competitive racers, we are currently
researching the best timing companies. This year, our racers will have fast accurate times that will be posted online within
hours. The course will be USA Track and Field (USATF) certified so you may be confident with your pacing and results as you
strive for your personal best.
Once again, prizes will be awarded to top finishers in all of our 14 age groups.
Like last year the medals and trophies will be unique and fun. All of our contestants for the Little Cat Scamper will once
again be awarded a prize for participation. This will include prizes for the top three boys and top three girls.
In 2010 we are adding a family savings group for our 5K participants. Sign up four members of your family for only $80.
This is a savings of $15 for individual registrations for the 5K.
Not a runner? Sign up four family members
to 1 mile walk and save $10.
Once again with every registration you will receive a free cotton t-shirt from
the event.
Finally, don't forget the Pride Cup is again up for grabs. Bring the most participants from your 202
House and share the trophy for the entire 2010-11 school year. Last year Blue House went home with the cup after beating
Green House by a couple participants.
We are so thankful to those who chose to spend the day with us last year.
We hope to see many again this year. Online registration is now available. Just follow our link to 2nd Annual Big Cat Pride 5k and register today.
