Our Mission

The Plainfield School District Foundation for Excellence is an independent non-profit 503c organization comprising citizens committed to the development of enrichment programs and services that make a significant contribution to the quality of education.

The Foundation marked its Silver Anniversary in 2008, celebrating 25 years of helping educators make their innovative ideas come to life for District 202 students. Since 1983, the Foundation has raised and contributed more than $250,000 to support District 202 students and staff in the form of grants, scholarships and special funding. It has also supported special programs including a District Art Gallery and the 1847 Schoolhouse Restoration.
