Community Service Scholarship

The Community Service Scholarship is given by the Plainfield Foundation for Excellenceto recognize the importance of public service in building and sustaining a vibrant and strong community.

The Plainfield Foundation for Excellence annually awards Community Service scholarships to graduating seniors from District 202′s high schools and Plainfield Academy to honor the contributions of students who participate in the life of their community through volunteerism.

Recipients will be chosen based on the student’s involvement and active participation in school and community volunteer activities. The award can be used at a college, university, junior college, trade or technology school.

Students are strongly encouraged to contact their high school guidance counselors for information about this scholarship and many other opportunities.
